Aromas of sweet strawberries, raspberries and rich Christmas cherries. Soft and Palate is fresh and vibrant with a racy line of acidity that carries juicy, bright red currants and summer berries and a fine, supple tannin structure.
A decidedly light red in the glass with a nose that is primary and dominated by red cherry and a faint sour edge. The palate shows some considered winemaking technique, it has embraced the fruit being picked early, with a crunch to red cherry fruit. There is a subtle build of texture and fruit that never moves beyond medium bodied; subtle spice and gentle undergrowth knit beautifully with more elegant fruit as it moves across the palate. The finish is long, and finely structured. This wine has a wonderful future ahead of it. Drink to: 2020 - 2030; Closure: Screwcap; Alcohol: 12%; Rating: 94 Points; Patrick Eckel; Wine Reviewer
