Two Hands Wines was founded in early 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz. From the outset, Two Hands set out to be unique. This approach is reflected in everything from the names of the wines through to innovative packaging and, not least, the wines themselves. In November 2012, Two Hands was named in the Wine Spectator's annual Top 100 for the 10th consecutive year, an achievement that has never been equaled by any other winery the world over.
2018 Review: Everything is right with this wine. The colour is full but clear, the bouquet composed and welcoming, the medium-bodied palate continuing the theme, dark berry fruits doing all the lifting (this is only medium-bodied, in any event), the mouthfeel juicy, the tannins fine-spun, the length exemplary. Drink to: 2028; Price: $30.00; Date Tasted: Sept 2019; Alcohol: 13.8%; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion
