The winemaking philosophy at Trentham Estate has always been to produce high-quality varietal wines at an affordable price, with an emphasis on full fruit flavour and palatability. Grapes are picked and crushed at optimum ripeness to produce the perfect flavour.
Medium bodied dry white. Pale green in colour with aromas of pear and baked apple; flavours of honeysuckle and light tropical fruits. A full round and soft wine, slightly sweet and very appealing. Enjoy with matured cheeses and spicy Asian dishes.
This estate is such a high performer. Nashi pear, tarte tartin and a gentle waft of cinnamon spice. Real succulence and vinosity, here. Long. Great pulse. This is exceptional gris no matter where it comes from. The concentration is a point. Fore, middle and aft.
