The name Thorn-Clarke derives literally from the relationship between two long time Barossa Families. Founders David and Cheryl Clarke (nee Thorn), work with their son and daughter, Sam and Nicole, in this family orientated business. With four family owned vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valley, Thorn-Clarke produces wines across three ranges (Sandpiper, Shotfire and William Randell) all represent exceptional value and display true regional character 'Showcasing the best that the Barossa has to offer.
Deep red with hints of garnet at the edge of the glass. The nose shows blackcurrant and liquorice fruit paired with subtle leaf and savoury spice while the palate is ripe and rich with balanced fruit and oak. Varietal flavours of cassis, nutmeg and plum lead to fine grained, savoury tannins.
