Sticks wines embody the true regional characters of the Yarra Valley. Aimed at being lively on the palate and a fruit driven wine style, we source our fruit in parcels ranging from 5 - 40 tonnes from premium growers across the Yarra Valley.
From part of a clonal planting on the Upper Ngumby Vineyard, this 277 Chardonnay clone had slightly larger bunches and berries than average. Fruit selection started with tasting off the vine, and this fruit showed great promise from an early stage with its depth of concentration and flavour
The clear colour introduces a highly floral, perfumed bouquet and a fresh, lively, medium-bodied, finely textured palate that has considerable finesse, its small red fruit flavours lingering long on the finish.
