This Adelaide Hills Sparkling Rose is refreshingly crisp. The nose leads with a lovely compote of summer berries with deeper yeasty, warm bread aromas making an appearance. The Pinot Noir component gives this wine a lot of power and flavour, with typical flavours of strawberry and plum dominating. There is a lovely richness to the mid palate and a refreshing dry finish.
Obviously, a pink outer jacket. The wine has distinct strawberry flavours, is well balanced, and likely to generate return visits, particularly if you see massive discounts. Price: $27.00; Date Tasted: Feb 2018; Alcohol: 11.5%; Rating: 90 Points; James Halliday Wine Companion
