2018 Review: Surely one of the best Pinot Gris in the country? I’d have Brian, Hoddles Creek and a few others in that list too. Texture, texture, texture. Full colour, kind of burnished copper or something like that. Aromatic with musk, brown pear, some spice. Good amount of flavour, powdery texture offers grip, just-right acidity, dry, savoury and serious feel, yet still pretty. Long with it. Top shelf. Love this wine. Tasted: Jan 19; Alcohol: 13.5%; Price: $30; Closure: Screwcap; Drink: 2019-2024+; Rated: 94 Points; Gary Walsh; The Wine Front
