White peach, dusty and spicy, lick of vanilla, almost peppery. Light and tight, but firm flavour here, white fruits, smoky sulphide, chalky texture, just a little green to trim it up and add colour, and a long pure finish. Excellent, vital Chardonnay. Tasted: Apr 19; Alcohol: 12.5%; Price: $69; Closure: Screwcap; Drink: 2020-2030; Rated: 94 Points; Gary Walsh; The Wine Front
