There's an extra dimension to the palate courtesy of partial barrel fermentation, serving to add to the grass, herb and passionfruit trio, citrussy acidity cleansing the finish. Miles From Nowhere Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Top Gold & 96 Points - Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2019
Top Gold & 95 Points - Royal Queensland Wine Show 2019

Pale green. Intense aromas of ripe melons and tropical fruits with a hint of lime generating a unique freshness. Delicate floral aromas amongst snow pea, cucumber, lantana and musk lolly. The palate explodes with flavours of ripe tropical fruit and a hint of crisp gooseberry. Underlying these great varietal fruits is the subtle minerality of vineyard expression with herbal and spicy notes. The long lingering finish is lively and fresh with lime flavoured acidity.

Sidewood Sauvignon Blanc 2018
The Mappinga Vineyard was hand-picked over 2 weeks, rows selected daily, the grapes chilled before being pressed. The bouquet of lychee and other tropical aromas sets the scene for a palate of a plate of carefully sliced fruits and a squeeze of lemon. All of which may suggest this is just a fun sauvignon blanc, when in fact it has a beautifully poised and very long finish and aftertaste. Highway robbery at this price. Drink to: 2020; Price: $25.00; Date Tasted: Mar 2019; Alcohol: 12%; Rating: 95 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion

Has the full array of tropical and vegetable flavours - from passionfruit to kiwi fruit, capsicum and asparagus, all united by fundamentally soft acidity. Drink to: 2021; Price: $22.00; Date Tasted: Sept 2019; Alcohol: 12.5%; Rating: 93 Points & Special Value Star; James Halliday Wine Companion
