Philippe Fourrier was founded in 1847 in the heart of the Southern Champagne region of Cote des Bar, birthplace of the great appellation Pinot Noir grape variety, Philippe Fourrier is a proud 5th generation winery owner, where his wife, son and daughters are still involved from their own Baroville vineyards.  André Fourrier was the first winemaker to produce his own champagne in Baroville in the early 20th century.

Light-mid straw-yellow colour, with aromas of nougat, preserved lemon, meringue and iced pastries; the palate is dry and intense, refined and taut, evidently low in dosage, with a long carry. The aftertaste is cleansing and more-ish, appetising and refreshing. Delicious Champagne. Date Tasted: May 2022; Price: $90.00; Alcohol: 12%; Rating: 95 Points; Huon Hooke; The Real Review
