Light, bright yellow colour. The aromas are fresh and spicy, showing a touch of yeast-aged complexity, some quince paste notes, some smokiness and an unusual side-note of nettle. The palate is light and dry, restrained and taut, with good intensity and freshness, penetrating and long. Attractive dry, savoury balance. The acidity is lovely - mouth-watering but not overdone. Very attractive and leaves the mouth refreshed. 100% Pinot Noir from the Côte des Bar. Rating: 93 Points; Huon Hooke; The Real Review
