This is a buttery style of Chardy but it's still bright and vibrant with notes of lemon curd, melon and fresh ginger. The creamy texture on the palate is lifted by lemony acidity. Made by the highly respected Mike Farmilo. The grapes for this pleasing Chardy are from the Fleurieu Peninsula. Very pale lemon in colour. This has lifted and attractive aromas with bright stonefruit notes and a hint of tropicals plus underlying herbs and crisp acidity. A wine with decent length and good focus.
