This pale, fresh and crunchy new release inspired by the De Bortoli ladies captures the bright expression of Yarra chardonnay in lemon, grapefruit and nashi pear character, finishing with tense acidity.  Tyson Stelzer's Australian Sparkling Report 2017

When Leanne De Bortoli took her daughters to see La Bohéme, the inspiration to create a sparkling Yarra Valley wine in honour of the famous Italian opera took hold. Reserves of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, dating back to 2007, have been blended to perfection. From the Vine; Sunday Telegraph April 2017

This smart sparkler is an addition to the La Bohéme range and is a response to a suggestion made after a visit to the opera by Kate, the daughter of Steve Webber and Leanne De Bortoli. The wine is green-tinted straw and has medium-fine bubbles, croissant scents and nashi pear front-palate flavour. The middle palate shows citrus, brioche and flint and the finish has slatey acid. Rating: 4.5 Stars; John Lewis Newcastle Herald April 2017

A pale colour with a green tinge. Citrus, hazelnuts, brioche, complex and listed aromas. Finesse and complexity on the palate, lively with good weight and balance. National Liquor News; April 2017
