The 2020 Riesling is as refreshing as a dip in the ocean. A bright and crisp style with fragrant citrus, mandarin and blossom notes. Fresh acidity leads to a clean, dry and mouth-watering finish.
Yes, it’s just a $19 wine. Yes, it gets a whopping big 94 point score out of 100. Let me tell you why. At the heart of the 2020 Dry Riesling is the essence of the Clare Valley’s premier white grape variety: a combination of white flowers, jasmine, spring blossom and a lime cordial, citrus concentration. One deep inhale of the scent, and you are transported to the Clare Valley. You could not be anywhere else. Simple . . . and not so simple. Try that with a lot of other sub-$20 wines out there. This is a classic Clare Valley riesling built for today, for tomorrow, that over-delivers on price. Drink to: 2021 - 2030; Price: $19.00; Rating: 94 Points; Jeni Port

This may just be on one of the best wine bargains around at the moment. Quality zingy and zippy dry riesling from the Clare Valley for under $20. I loved the refreshment value here; a fragrant fresh and crisp young wine with delicious citrus fruit flavours and bright acidity. This would be terrific with pan-fried whiting, or maybe a prawn salad. It has already picked up a show gold medal. Vegan friendly and low in alcohol at 11..5%. Seriously yummy this one. Price: $19.00; Wine of the Week; Winsor Dobbin
