2018 Review: Very complex vinification, with three different approaches to batches picked at varying stages of ripeness, reflects the experience of nine vintages of GRU with four gold medal (two top gold). Gruner isn't particularly aromatic when young, but has a plethora of flavours of all kinds of fruits - mainly tree-grown - and spices. The other limb of the wine is its texture and structure underwriting its longevity.
