Dinny Goonan vineyard is located in the hinterland of the Otway coast in Southern Victoria. The wine is produced from Estate grown fruit and made using traditional vinification and elevage techniques. This wine blends Shiraz with a small proportion of Viognier to provide aromatic life.
Bright red fruits greet the front palate of this medium bodied wine which becomes more savoury with darker fruits and liquorice top notes as the wine moves across the mouth. The acidity of the wine provides a juiciness to the palate which is counterbalanced by the chalky tannins that envelope the wine. The wine finishes with a lingering red fruit aftertaste.
