Chris Coulter the owner and winemaker describes his approach as minimalist intervention whilst ensuring cleanliness and purity in the wines. He sources fruit from across the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. Riverland. Whilst he works with the classic varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir he also plays with some Italian varietals including Sangiovese and Barbera and this year has experimented with a parcel of Syrah from the Eden Valley. the Iberian variety Tempranillo. The project began in 2015 and already has received some great reviews and we think these offer remarkable value.
Serious Grenache off the One Tree Hill Vineyard in the Adelaide region, that sits immediately between the Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills. This wine is elegant, bright and subdued in alcohol but packs a punch of fresh red and black fruit. Spice, liquorice and lovely tannins on the finish give this Grenache its allure.
