Castle Rock Estate is nestled on the eastern slopes of the Porongurup mountain range and is named after a prominent nearby landmark. The vineyard has a cool and elevated northerly aspect, resulting in intensely flavoured wines.
This is 100% estate grown and vintaged. The aroma, quintessentially Pinot Noir, is of complex cherries and strawberries. It has a lively, balanced, rich palate. The French oak, fine tannin structures give the wine a long fine finish and after taste. With appropriate cellaring this wine will develop wonderful complexity.
