Ott Sélection has been produced from some of the oldest vines and most noble varietals from select growers throughout Provence. The wines are produced using the traditional vinification methods of Domaines Ott, founded in 1912 by Alsatian engineer Marcel Ott. The winemaking team carefully selects the grape lots and produces wines they consider to be worthy and excellent value for wines from the Côtes de Provence. Brilliant pale pink tones with a copper hue. Intensely fruity (white peaches, pink lady apple and exotic fruits). Fresh and vibrant, with well balanced acidity and mouthfeel, the fruit aromas follow through on the palate. The finishes leaves an enticing impression of exotic suppleness.
The 2019 Cotes de Provence Rose By Ott boasts restrained aromas of crushed stone, grapefruit zest and melon rind. It’s light to medium-bodied but concentrated on the palate, with hints of cantaloupe, cherries and citrus, finishing clean and silky. This year, the blend is 60% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 10% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre. Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate
