Pale yellow in colour with bright green highlights. The nose is fresh, crisp and primarily fruit-driven, showcasing white peach, citrus and cut apple aromas with just a hint of oak derived spice. The palate is equally fruit driven and precise with elegant stone fruit and pear flavours wrapped in crisp mineral acidity before a long, complex finish.
A charming chardonnay, the inviting bouquet shows apricot, nectarine, rockmelon and subtle nougat characters. It is equally appealing on the palate with succulent fruit intensity and rounded mouthfeel, well supported by creamy texture and bright acidity. Tasted: Sept 2019; Drink: Now to 2022.
