Brancott vineyard was the original site of their Sauvignon Blanc plantings in Marlborough. Brancott went out to disprove the popular idea that New Zealand’s South Island was too cold to grow wine grapes. With a unique combination of soil, sun and climate, Brancott pioneered New Zealand’s first internationally-acclaimed Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
This wine presents aromas of plums, blackberries and hints of cherries, liquorice and smoky oak that add to the complexity. The palate is rich and velvety, full of sweet berry fruit flavours, finishing with complex layers of spice and soft savoury tannins.
