After searching the globe for an ideal place to plant vines with the aim of making high quality wines, Bellarmine Wines was founded in 2000 on a picturesque property in the pristine cool climate region of Pemberton, South-West Western Australia.
This is in the typical Aussie dry style, and gives just what we expect. Citrus aromas, floral, with a touch of flower blossom. Leads to a palate showing lime flavours and background minerality.
The bouquet offers floral notes first up, moving quick smart to lime and lemon blossom, and a surge of minerality drawing saliva from the mouth while extending the length of what is a very good riesling.
