This wine is made with fruit from the Frankland River Region of Western Australia, which produces wine with great richness of flavour. Displays lovely mulberry, mocha and spicy notes. The palate is luscious with with cherry and plum flavours, supported by smooth tannins.
What a revelation this wine is. Winemaker Jeremy Gordon sources the fruit from the Swinney vineyard in Frankland River. It is a sublime silky smooth velvety shiraz that says so much about Frankland and this variety. Fine slightly chalky tannins, superfine oak treatment and thoroughly seductive fruit captured on the nose with its perfume and on the palate with is delicious engaging complexity.
