One of the greatest domaines in Chablis founded by William Fevre in 1957 and its vineyard holdings include 12 hectares of premier cru and 16 hectares of grand Cru vines. The domaines fruit is harvested by hand, a rarity in Chablis, and rigorously sorted at the winery to ensure the highest quality. In recent times the amount of new oak used has been cut back and today the average age of the barrels in the cellar is five years. From the Petit Chablis to the domaines six Grand Cru wines, the quality is superb and the range from Domaine William Fevre is a benchmark for the wines of the region.

Combining lovely fruitiness with an attractive freshness and characteristic minerality, Chablis is a wine region with global renown. Domaine William Fèvre’s vineyards sit on Kimmeridgian subsoil and enjoy ideal exposures for the production of a very fine wine. Very elegant bouquet, developing citrus, white-fleshed fruit and floral notes. Fresh and supple, the wine is marked by mineral notes that are typical of the appellation.

A focused, lemon-, apple- and melon-flavored version, with accents of seashore and stone. Leaves a mouthwatering finish that lingers well, echoing citrus and stone elements. Rating: 91 Points; Wine Spectator

Here the fresh and expressive nose exhibits a bit more overt Chablis typicity with its notes of lemon, white flower, iodine and oyster shell. The tighter and more precise medium weight flavors are not quite as complex but they're more refined and particularly so on the moderately long finale.
