This Riesling was all sourced from our highly regarded Langton vineyard, located in Mount Barker. Previously, our Riesling has been sourced solely from our award-winning Block 6, but this year Blocks 10 and 19 have also been included in the blend. The viticulturists have been working with these vines for a number of years to bring them up to the West Cape Howe Riesling standard. Night harvested in multiple picks in early March and gently pressed during the cool of the night, has resulted in the retention of the Riesling grapes' varietal characters. The wine was fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, with a neutral yeast strain and cool temperatures, to maximise the aromatic qualities of the wine. Post fermentation, the very best parcels from the different Blocks were blended to produce a great example of a classic Mount Barker Riesling.

Pale straw with a vibrant green hue. Notes of kaffir lime, spice and citrus are prevalent with an underlying presence of honeysuckle blossom and talc. The palate opens with lime, citrus and hints of spice. The primary fruit characters are subtle, the palate fine and pure with lingering fresh acidity. Drink now for its freshness and purity or cellar for up to 8 years.
