Whole bunch pressed direct to barrel for indigenous ferment. Free run barrels fermented with full solids. Mix of new (40%) and seasoned Puncheons for a 10 month elevage. Occasional lees stirring for additional mouthfeel. 50% Malo Lactic Fermentation. Classic Yarra Chardonnay aromas of white peach and nectarine. Delicate and restrained dusty oak and lime leaf elements. Hints of oatmeal, fragipani and cured meats. Sweet fruit on the front palate from the warm growing season. Great mid palate texture and mouthfeel from barrel ferment and lees stirring. Balanced acid line and a refined and lingering finish.

Whole bunch-pressed direct to French oak puncheons (40% new), 60% mlf and some lees stirring. Generosity is the name of the game, and you have to unpick that generosity to reveal the structure and citrussy acidity within; the low yield of the vines shines through.
