This could be nothing else but Chablis as here too there is plenty of that classic oyster shell and iodine combination that adds breath to the cool and lemon-inflected nose. The beautifully delineated, racy and intense middle weight flavors possess fine depth and outstanding persistence on the youthfully austere finale. This is a first-rate example of the appellation though note that it will need a few years of cellar time.  Tasted: Oct 2015; Drink: 2020+; Issue: 60; Rating: 89-91 Points: Allen Meadows - Burghound

The 2014 Chablis Village has a complex, mint-tinged bouquet that is both lively and vivacious, opening up almost immediately in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity that cuts through the mineral, citrus fruit. Quite linear and correct in keeping with the vintage, it has impressive density towards the finish. Drink this wonderful Chablis Villages over the next 4-5 years. Rating: 91 Points; Drink: 2017-2024; Tasted: Aug 2016; Neal Martin; #226
