The superb conditions over harvest meant all the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon batches were ripening together. Field tasting the grapes was essential to ensure the blocks were picked at their optimum flavour and ripeness. Harvesting of these varieties began on the 6th of March and was completed in less than six days. The pristine condition of the fruit of both varieties and the excellent flavour profiles have produced a classic Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc Semillon: a fine and elegant wine with great intensity, texture and flavour, all balanced with lovely freshness and crispness on the finish.

Pale straw. This is a wine displaying all the hallmarks of a great vintage for Margaret River. Aromas of nectarine, gooseberry, lemon blossum, citrus pith and orange rind are all evident on the nose. A vibrant and fresh blend that has superb weight and structure. The fresh gooseberry and citrus characters are all evidence of the high class Sauvignon Blanc fruit of the season. 

Includes 2% Chardonnay in the blend this year. Very lightly grassy with a mix of citrus and passionfruit. Clean and direct with a little dried herb but mainly fruity flavours, balanced acidity, no wincing or abrasion and good clean finish. No bumps in the road. Great summer drinking.
