Risking the wrath of wine-police everywhere, we have just received a small allocation of Ovarius decanters.

These decanters are, in various degrees, theatrical, practical, rare, a little ridiculous, unexpectedly useful, occasionally revelatory, and great for starting conversation.

Developed in the Jura in 2006 for serving Vin Jaune, they have become the vessel of choice for many of the world’s most dynamic producers, including Anselme Selosse (Jacque Selosse), Marcel Lapierre, Philippe Pacelet, the Breton Family and many more. Since becoming the darling of many ‘natural’ wine producers in France, they are quite rare and it’s a joy to be able to get some more. They are hand blown and are a must for any adventurous wine lover.
