Since 1982 Billecart-Salmon Grande Cuvée has revealed all its character to all wine lovers. This great wine produced from the finest sites of selected grands crus. It spends about 10 years in the traditional cellars and really deserves its title of Grand Cru thanks to the meticulous blend, exclusively from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grands crus grapes. The Grande Cuvée 1996 reveals a great harmony with its pale gold colour and the supreme finesse of its mousse. It is then surprising the nose with its complex and highly expressive aromas of ripe fruits and toasy flavours. The palate is fine and distinguished with power and vivacity. Power and finesse make this cuvee a perfectly balanced wine. This wonderful cuvee will be perfect with any meal and will be even more enjoyable as an after-dinner drink.
