Apart from repeating the same comments every critic is at pains to inform you about - the fruit source of 60 to 80 year old vineyards between Greenock and Ebenezer, what I love about this wine is it throws up really lovely, fleshy and generous fruit characters but some wonderful spicy and savoury tones and mineral acidity balances up the package perfectly. It is generous without being jammy, concentrated without being cloying and serious while still being approachable.
