Luigi Einaudi was still an Italian, and even though the job as Italy's first President must have been quite demanding, legend had it that he was always on hand for vintage time - a story confirmed by the oldies even now. This was clearly his passion and it is reflected through to today. For every bottle produced there is a deliberate thought for each wine’s existence and an application of care and resources to its growing and making.

Stemming from the Einaudi's vineyards located in the subzone of Terlo and Zuncai in Barolo. A great wine which ages well, of a brilliant garnet red with touches of amber and distinctive orange tinges which intensify with age, of an intense and persistent bouquet, of great body and full taste, austere and velvety. The tannic characteristics guarantee a long life in bottle. With time it acquires complexity as the ethereal aromas of spices, truffles and leather that substitute the fruitiness of the first years of its life.
