The Aude Valley, flowing from the foothills of the Pyrenees to Carcassonne in the south of France has a long association with Chardonnay. The high altitude and cooling evening breezes creates fresh and elegant interpretations of this classic grape variety. Sourced from a single grower south of Limoux in the middle / upper reaches of the Aude Valley.
Pale yellow in colour with bright green highlights. The nose is unadulterated Chardonnay – classically expressive of stone fruit, lemon and cut apple. The palate is delightfully flavoursome with ripe nectarine, pear and melon given definition by brisk citrus minerality before a long dry finish.
