Bright red fruit scents coupled to puffs of sweet talc, sniff of dried herbs and a pretty, musk sweetness. Light and breezy to taste, crisp fruit character set to crunchy acidity and a tug of fine, dusty tannin. Light on, for sure, but set to the higher scale of drinkability. Almost feels like a structured rose rather than a light pinot noir that finishes puckering, earthy and dry. Good drinking, anyway, with enough interest for pinotphiles to get excited too. Rating: 93 Points; Drink: 2015-2022; Price: $24; Date Tasted: May 2015; Alcohol: 13%; Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
