The guy who helps out at Hoddles Creek making his own pinot noir and chardonnay, selling the stuff at $20, but pretty much applying the same sort of philosophy to the whole project… you do the maths. This is top five best value for money wine I’ve seen in 12 months….. Produced with some of the nous of Hoddles Creek, but individually styled and sourced from selected sites. Mike Bennie (The Wine Front)

Lemon curd, a little ginger spice, milky and savoury on a base of lemon barley, subtle apple, and bitter lemon flavour. It’s shot though with tight acidity, has a gently chalky texture, and finishes with fair tangy length. Sophisticated wine for the money. A bit of funk. A bit of style. A bit good. Rating: 92 Points; Drink: 2016-2021+; Price: $20; Date Tasted: February 2015; Alcohol: 12.9%; Gary Walsh - The Wine Front
