Lemon curd, a little ginger spice, milky and savoury on a base of lemon barley, subtle apple, and bitter lemon flavour. It’s shot though with tight acidity, has a gently chalky texture, and finishes with fair tangy length. Sophisticated wine for the money. A bit of funk. A bit of style. A bit good.
