Medium straw with green hues, this wine displays ripe tropical fruit, with peach and melon aromas and subtly sweet vanilla oak overtones. The palate is medium to full bodied, rich in tropical peach flavours, with subtle oak, creating a soft, round and creamy mouthfeel. A complex wine with a pleasant, lingering finish
It's a similar story with the second wine that I'm recommending. The Clare Valley makes Australia's best riesling, smart, often extraordinarily, good shiraz, some flavourful cabernet and a handful of good semillon, grenache and gewurztraminer. But it's not a region that does chardonnay particularly well. This budget-priced white from XXXXX is, however, a good, easy-drinking wine at a fair price. It has bright, ripe, sweet tropical fruit flavours, is clean and lively with refresing, crisp acidity.' Peter Forrestal, Quaff

A varietal and fruit driven Shiraz. The bouquet shows lifted spice, plum and red berry fruit characters and just a hint of of oak. A medium bodied palate is showing soft complex fruit flavours with rich berry characters. Soft tannins help finish the wine with a dry lingering finish. Drink now over 2 or 3 years. WineStarmore
