A partnership with our Adelaide Hills and Langhorne Creek growers, Burns & Fuller is a range of contemporary and fruit driven varietal wines made by Jim Zerella, Each wine is fruit-driven and balanced with a core of fruit given complexity by a barrel aged component.

The fruit is hand-harvested and vineyard sorted before de-stemming and cool fermentation in small two tonne open fermenters with regular hand plunging. Matured in seasoned French and American oak (30% new French) for nine months before bottling with minimal filtration and sulphur addition.

Tight and brooding on the nose with red berry and blackcurrant aromas supported by lifted violet and black olives. The palate is rich and sweetly fruited with layers of dark plum, exotic spices, subtle toasted oak and fine tannins. The ripeness and opulence of the fruit allows for immediate enjoyment whilst the structure promises a decade of improvement if cellared.
