Buckshot is a small family owned producer with over 20 years wine industry experience. They produce two limited release red wines – Shiraz and Zinfandel – wines with personality, character and texture.

Planted in the famous 500 million year old Cambrian earth of Heathcote, these soils are riddled with “BUCKSHOT”, a colonial expression describing the ironstone pebbles that have formed over many centuries, which are a true sign of how ancient these soils are.

Dark colour and flavour but it has a trick or two up its sleeve. It lays on a power of fruit flavour but manages to keep itself nice, with clove and dried herb notes infusing muscular tannin with more than just grunt. Sweet but also savoury.
